People’s Assembly to process 2022 Referendum Results

March 14th 2022 – The People’s Assembly of the Republic of Chernarus will the next coming days be debating the results of the 2022 Chernarus referendum.

According to the constitution, a referendum has to be processed by the People’s Assembly, and if enacted will be signed into law by the President’s office. The Assembly has the power to vote against referendum results, and the President at all times wields the power to overturn the vote of the Assembly.

63% of Chernarussian citizens voted for a military action to solve the South Zagorian question. Key lawmakers in Novigrad have called into question these demands considering the security threat posed by the Takistani regime to the west of Chernarussian borders.
